BIOGRAPHIE
Pete ist im Peak District aufgewachsen, nur einen Katzensprung von Sheffield entfernt. Sein ganzes Leben hat er die Gritstone Edges direkt vor seiner Tür und so verstand er die Möglichkeit, die Natur, die Landschaft und das einzigartige Klettern in Gritstone zu genießen. Er hat die hier gelernten Techniken genommen und sehr wirkungsvoll auf der ganzen Welt angewendet, insbesondere an riesigen Rissen in den Wüstengebieten von Utah und den Big Walls von Yosemite in Kalifornien.

Wie/warum hast du mit dem Klettern angefangen: Meine Familie
Lieblingskletterziel: Mein Lieblingskletterziel ist in der Regel der Ort, wo meine aktuellen Projekte sind.
Denkwürdige Klettererfolg(e): Das Training für und die Begehung von Century Crack. Der erste Solo Free Aufstieg von El Cap in unter 24 Stunden und viele andere.
Welche drei Worte beschreiben Klettern für dich: Eine gute Herausforderung
Wie trainierst du: Ich trainiere speziell für Projekte. Wenn ich kein Projekt habe, klettere ich nur und trainiere nicht.
Du rennst, du rutschst, du verpatzt die Bewegung... Was motiviert dich, es noch einmal zu versuchen: Ich mag es nicht, zu verlieren oder aufzugeben.

BIO
Pete grew up in the Peak District just a stone's throw away from Sheffield. Having the Gritstone edges on his doorstep for all his life, he has grasped the opportunity to embrace the outdoors, great landscapes and unique climbing on the Gritstone.
He has taken techniques learnt from his local climbing and has now applied them to great effect all over the world, most notably in the desert areas of Utah on huge roof cracks and the Big Walls of Yosemite in California.
