Maria Nagni’s artistic path has always been intertwined with nature. As a child, she found inspiration in her grandparents’ garden, where vibrant colors and textures first captured her imagination. Over time, her passion for art merged with her love for climbing, leading to an exploration of movement, anatomy, and human connection—both on the canvas and on the rock. A climber herself, Maria found a natural synergy between the physical movements of climbing and the fluidity of artistic expression.
“Climbing is an incredible experience of body awareness”, Maria explains. “It plays all around balance, and the way you move to reach the top is unique to each individual. My aim through art is to reflect the beauty of movement and the power of observation from different perspectives, and climbing is an incredible experience of this concept.”
